RIBGH General Meeting Update!
The State of Health Care - Trends and Forecast for 2009  

What can we anticipate with respect to health care reform initiatives for 2009? What can we predict based upon health care trends in Rhode Island?  What can the business community do to proactively influence these issues? 

Please join us at our next RIBGH general meeting on Friday, December 12, 2008, when we will be discussing the state of health care in Rhode Island and what can we expect for 2009?   RI Health Insurance Commissioner Chris Koller and Deb Katilus, Principal of Mercer will be joining us for this discussion.  

This meeting will also focus on the strategic direction for RIBGH for 2009.  Learn about proposed initiatives for 2009 and share your thoughts about the issues and needs you would like to see included in the RIBGH strategic plan and goals for 2009. 

This meeting will also include: 

  • The election of new officers and board members
  • "Current State Update" by committee chairs and committee membership opportunities; discussion around hot topics of interest for our 2009 meeting year
  • Opportunity for offering suggestions for improving RIBGH and membership retention
  • Q&A with executive officers and board members
