As a primarily volunteer-based organization, RIBGH relies on members of three distinct committee teams who selflessly donate their time and effort to stay updated on the most recent policies and RIBGH activities that directly affect businesses in the state of Rhode Island. The impact that RIBGH has on the community would not be as strong if it were not for the tireless efforts of these committees.
RIBGH's Health and Productivity Committee works to improve the value and effectiveness of your company's health and wellness strategies and programs by leveraging access to best practices and thought leadership. The Health and Productivity Committee's Wellness Cafes and Annual Best Practices Events attract RIBGH membership state-wide.

An active, informed Advocacy/Legislative Affairs Committee represents the business viewpoint to the RI legislature and regulators on health care issues and policies. As the "voice of RI business" on health care, RIBGH is the only organization in Rhode Island dedicated to creating a proactive dialogue among the business community, insurers, providers and State Government on matters of health care policy. Activities include contacting legislators on important health care issues, tracking and establishing positions on health care legislation, hosting the annual Advocacy/Legislative Affairs Summit, and representing RIBGH on government and carrier advisory groups.
